A “CLASSIC POP BOYBAND” IS STORMING THE GERMAN ALBUM CHARTS!

In 2008 LASZLO was discovered with four other singers for the classical pop formation ADORO. From a large number of applicants, he was hired directly from the music theater stage into the really large-format pop business.

 

In the beginning it was quite a change for him, since until then he had always performed live on the opera or operetta stage, in concert halls or at classical music festivals.

 

LASZLO gained extensive experience on the largest stages and in the largest concert halls in German-speaking countries. He sang with ADORO in front of more than 1 million listeners at the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin (link to the performance on the occasion of “20 Years Fall of the Wall”: Adoro with FREIHEIT – FREEDOM), completed several major tours and countless TV appearances.

THE SENSATIONAL DUET WITH CROSSOVER STAR KATHERINE JENKINS

In 2014, one year after he left ADORO, LASZLO was invited by the international crossover star KATHERINE JENKINS to perform a duet for their new album.

The choice fell on the duet AMIGOS PARA SIEMPRE, written by composer star ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER, which he had written for SARAH BRIGHTMAN and JOSÉ CARRERAS.

The duet was presented to an audience of more than 5 million viewers for the very first time with great success on the largest German-language music TV show in Germany.

THE FIRST CLASSIC POP SOLO ALBUM – HERZSCHLAG (HEARTBEAT)

During this time he became an expert in studio recording and also developed his own idea of how classical pop could develop further. LASZLO’s idea was to combine the sound and the arrangements of modern film music with classic pop and a radiant, expressive tenor voice.

 

His intense inspiration are the greats of film music: HANS ZIMMER(Gladiator, Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean), DAVID ARNOLD (James Bond, Independence Day), but also old master VANGELIS (The Hour of the Victory, 1492 – The Conquest of Paradise), to name just a few.

 

After a creative break, LASZLO then had the opportunity to record his own album. But he was not only the singer of the production, he was also commissioned by the Warner Music Germany label to produce the album and, for the most part, to write the new German lyrics.
