Dear friends!

Here I have a pic for you, that shows me at the red carpet of the „music meets media“, this week in Berlin.

It was a wonderful event, with a lot of colleagues, people from the music and the media biz, exchanging there new ideas, visions and informations. I met some of good old friends form the music biz, but also get to know a lot of new, interesting people . The „Music meets media“ is like a wake up call for the new music biz season after the summer break.

I am looking forward to a new, exiting and creative music year, that will bring some big changes and a lot of new challenges for me.

Liebe Freunde!

Hier habe ich ein Foto vom „Roten Teppich“ der „music meets media“ in Berlin letzte Woche, für euch.

Es war eine tolle Veranstaltung mit vielen Kollegen, Musikschaffenden und Medienvertretern. Habe mich sehr gefreut alte Bekannte wieder zu treffen und neue, interessante Menschen kennen zu lernen. Die „music meets media“ ist immer eine Art „Weckruf“ für die neue Musiksaison, nach der medialen Sommerpause.

Ich freue mich auf ein aufregendes, kreatives neues Musikjahr, das viele Veränderungen und viele neue Herausforderungen bringen wird.

Dear friends,

the photographer of my website Felicitas Matern, had a wonderful opening party of her new photographic studio, with a lot of friends and viennese celebrities. With her photographic studio „feel image“ (www.feelimage.at), Felicitas became the rising star of the Viennese photographers and I am very happy, that she made the photographs for this website too.

I am looking forward to the upcoming shootings with her in the the new „feel image“ studio in one of the most beautiful areas of Vienna.

Liebe Freunde,

die Fotografin meiner Website Felicitas Matern, hat vor ein paar Tagen ihr neues Fotostudio in Wien eröffnet und es wurde mit einer tollen Party und einer illustren Gästeschar gefeiert. Felicitas ist mit ihrem „feel image“ – Studio (www.feelimage.at) innerhalb kurzer Zeit zum neunen Stern am Wiener Fotohimmmel aufgestiegen und ich freu mich sehr, dass sie auch die Fotos zu meiner Künstler-Website gemacht hat.

Ich freue mich auf die kommenden Shootings mit ihr im neunen wunderschönen „feel image“ Studio in einer der schönsten Gegenden Wiens.

Liebe Freunde,

heute hatte ich Probeaufnahmen im Orchestersaal der berühmten Filmstudios Babelsberg bei Berlin. Ein wunderbarer Raum mit hervorragender Akustik und Tontechnik, der perfekt geeignet ist für die Aufnahmen von Opernstimmen. Da ich persönlich immer auf der Suche nach dem besten Aufnahmeergebnis für meine Stimme bin war ich sehr gespannt, welche Tipps und Anregungen die Fachleute der Tonstudios in Babelsberg für mich haben.

Wir probierten unterschiedliche Mikrofone und Aufnahmeanordnungen, mit und ohne akustische Stellwände aus, erhielten spannende Ergebnisse.

Mein herzlich er Dank gilt den hervorragenden Tontechniker der Studios Babelsberg für ihre wunderbare Mitarbeit und Hilfe.

Es war ein tolle Erfahrung. Euer Laszlo

LASZLO TENOR AT TRY OUT RECORDINGS IN THE FAMOUS FILM STUDIOS BABELSBERG – BERLIN

Dear friends,

today I had test recordings in the orchestra hall of the famous „Filmstudios Bebelsberg“ close to Berlin / Germany. A wonderful room with extraordinary acoustics and sound engineering. It is definitely a room that perfectly fits to record an operatic voice like mine. I always try to optimize the quality of my own voice recordings, so I was very curios about the suggestions and the way of recording that the sound experts of the record studio in Babelsberg, would recommend for my voice.

We tried different microphones and recording set ups, with and without acoustic movable walls, and had really exiting results.

I have to send a big „thank you“ to the wonderful sound engineering team of the Studios Babelsberg for their input and helpful collaboration.

It was an exiting experience.

LASZLO TENOR AT THE PREMIERE OF „WIENER BLUT“ AT THE LANGENLOIS SUMMER FESTIVAL

Yesterday I had a wonderful evening beeing a visitor at the premiere of the operetta „Wiener Blut“ („Viennese Blood“) by the „King of Operetta“ Johann Strauss. it was a modern and successfully made staging with some really wonderful and amusing ideas of the director.

The cast was singing and acting on a high level. The wonderful, small Castle Haindorf was a perfect set and used with creativity to show all the different settings where the piece is taking place. A small but very good performing orchestra made the beauty and freshness of Johann Strauss music hear- and enjoyable.

I especially enjoyed Melanie Wurzer as „Peppi“ (The picture at the top). Her singing and acting was full of temper and joy. Infectious! But my absolute favorite was my dear and wonderful colleague from my time at the Wiener Volksoper, Ernst Dieter Suttheimer! A thrilling comedian who is a excellent singer too!

It was a wonderful evening with a lot of amusement und beautiful voices (a pitty that they where amplified by microphones). And I met a lot of friends and colleagues from the Viennese music scene. And all of this just 60 km away from Vienna in a beautiful wine area.

Dear friends,

I am looking forward to the big summer open air at the Summer Festival Wiblingen in Germany. I will perform there with Adoro. For an opera singer who was used to sing regularly live on stage, without studio recordings and TV shows it is the most wonderful thing to perform live and be close to the audience again.

ich freue mich schon sehr auf das Sommer Open Air im wunderbaren Ambiente der Sommerfestspiele Wiblingen, nahe Ulm. Für einen Opernsänger der es jahrelang gewohnt war, regelmäßig mit großem Orchester auf der Bühne zu stehen, sind solche Konzerte das Schönste. Endlich wieder hautnah am Publikum sein!

Ich freue mich auf jeden Fall auf alle die kommen können!
