LASZLO TENOR HAD A WONDERFUL PERFORMANCE AT THE CLASSIC OPEN AIR 2013 IN BERLIN
Dear friends,
yesterday I was singing with Adoro at the Classic Open Air Berlin in the wonderful atmosphere of the historical „Gendarmenmarkt“ in the heart of the Berlin. It was a wonderful experience to share the stage with singers and musicians, like the opera legend Grace Bumbry, Jocelyn B. Smith, David Lee Brewer, and enjoy the sold out show with a programm that was rich in variety. The famous „Film Orchestra Babelsberg“, with the conductor Scott Lawton, contributed the wonderful, classical orchestra sound.
I extremely enjoyed this evening, where classical sound fused with a lot of different music genres and where you could feel that frontiers disappeared.
Perfect open air weather, a wonderful public, an delightful evening!

LASZLO TENOR HATTE MIT ADORO EINE TOLLEN AUFTRITT BEIM CLASSIC OPEN AIR

Gestern hatte ich mit Adoro einen wunderbaren Auftritt beim Classic Open Air Berlin, am Gendarmenmarkt. Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis mit der Opernlegende Grace Bumbry, Jocelyn B. Smith, David Lee Brewer auf der Bühne zu stehen und das abwechslungsreiche Programm zu gestalten. Das Deutsches Filmorchester Babelsberg unter der Leitung von Scott Lawton, sorgte für die wunderbare, klassische Orchesterklänge.
Ich habe diesen Abend auf jeden Fall sehr genossen und in meiner Begrüßung, das ausgedrückt, was ich an diesem Abend empfunden habe:
„Wir freuen uns sehr Teil dieses wunderbaren Festivals zu sein, bei dem, so wie Heute, klassische Klänge mit den unterschiedlichsten Musikrichtungen verschmelzen. Ein Festival bei dem man das Gefühl hat, dass Grenzen verschwinden und die Freude und die Leidenschaft für Musik alle verbindet. Oder wie es unser nächstes Lied noch poetischer ausdrückt: Wo wir doch alle „vom selben Stern“ sind.“
Perfektes Open Air Wetter, ein tolles Publikum, ein herrlicher Abend!

LASZLO IS TESTING SOUNDS FOR HIS VOCAL RECORDINGS
Dear friends,
Today I´am in the studio testing „sounds“ for my vocal recordings. And I can tell you one thing fo sure: „You never stop learning!“. Again and again I recognize that it needs some effort to make the whole potential of my voice hearable. Especially an operatic voice like mine, which is very dynamic with a range of expression, that leads you from very soft to bright, strong and metallic. But I am in safe keeping at the moment and I learn every day.
I am looking forward to the time, when I can present you the result of our work. But everything that is made with quality needs it´s time.

LASZLO BEI „SOUNDTESTS“ FÜR STUDIOAUFNAHMEN SEINER STIMME
Liebe Freunde!
Heute mache ich wieder „Soundtests“ für meine Stimmaufnahmen und ich kann euch sagen: „Man lernt nie aus!“. Es ist immer wieder überraschend, wie viel Aufwand es ist, das volle Potenzial meiner Stimme auch auf den Aufnahmen hörbar zu machen. Gerade bei einer sehr dynamischen Opernstimme, wie meiner, die sowohl sehr sanft, bis strahlend und kräftig klingen kann, ist das nicht so einfach, wie man denkt. Aber ich bin in guten Händen und lerne jeden Tag dazu.
Freu mich schon, wenn ich euch dann irgendwann das Ergebnis präsentieren kann. Aber alles was Qualität haben soll, braucht auch seine Zeit…

LASZLO MET HIS BASS-BARITON COLLEAGUE ERWIN SCHROTT AT „ROJOTANGO“ IN BERLIN
Dear friends,
yesterday I had the great pleasure to listen to my bass-bariton colleague and internationally successful Operasinger Erwin Schrott, singing a wonderful Tango concert. The focus of the program „Rojotango“ is not so much on the dancing but more on the Music, the special kind of singing, that Tango needs, the passion, melancholy and the richness of Tango music.
Erwin Schrott showed, that he is not only a wonderful opera singer!In „Rojotango“ he shows his deep an emotional affinity for Tango music. Something not too surprising, cause he is South American.
Erwin was accompanied perfectly by wonderful musicians from all around the world. Three of them are the Janoska brothers, virtuoses whom I already could enjoy in concerts with the „Philharmincs“ and their own „Janosk Ensemble“. (Informations about that concerts you can see here in some of the former posts.)
„Rojotango“ is a great mixture of real and authentic Tango music, with an opera singer who is able to reduce his voice, or raise it powerful and operatic, every colour given in the right moment. Accompanied by an ensemble of outstanding, international musicians and two impressing dancers, all together transporting the emotion, the passion and the melancholia of Tango. And finally an Erwin Schrott who is even able to loosen all that in an amusing way with his presentation.
I can deeply recommend „Rojotango“, to all of you who like Tango and passionate music! There are still some upcoming concerts in Germany and Austria. If you don not have the chance to see and hear „Rojotango“ live, than I can also recommend the wonderful recording.
