I am looking forward to the big summer open air at the Summer Festival Wiblingen in Germany. I will perform there with Adoro. For an opera singer who was used to sing regularly live on stage, without studio recordings and TV shows it is the most wonderful thing to perform live and be close to the audience again.

Dear friends,

Today I´am in the studio testing „sounds“ for my vocal recordings. And I can tell you one thing fo sure: „You never stop learning!“. Again and again I recognize that it needs some effort to make the whole potential of my voice hearable. Especially an operatic voice like mine, which is very dynamic with a range of expression, that leads you from very soft to bright, strong and metallic. But I am in safe keeping at the moment and I learn every day.

I am looking forward to the time, when I can present you the result of our work. But everything that is made with quality needs it´s time.

yesterday I had the great pleasure to listen to my bass-bariton colleague and internationally successful Operasinger Erwin Schrott, singing a wonderful Tango concert. The focus of the program „Rojotango“ is not so much on the dancing but more on the Music, the special kind of singing, that Tango needs, the passion, melancholy and the richness of Tango music.

Erwin Schrott showed, that he is not only a wonderful opera singer!In „Rojotango“ he shows his deep an emotional affinity for Tango music. Something not too surprising, cause he is South American.

Erwin was accompanied perfectly by wonderful musicians from all around the world. Three of them are the Janoska brothers, virtuoses whom I already could enjoy in concerts with the „Philharmincs“ and their own „Janosk Ensemble“. (Informations about that concerts you can see here in some of the former posts.)

„Rojotango“ is a great mixture of real and authentic Tango music, with an opera singer who is able to reduce his voice, or raise it powerful and operatic, every colour given in the right moment. Accompanied by an ensemble of outstanding, international musicians and two impressing dancers, all together transporting the emotion, the passion and the melancholia of Tango. And finally an Erwin Schrott who is even able to loosen all that in an amusing way with his presentation.

I can deeply recommend „Rojotango“, to all of you who like Tango and passionate music! There are still some upcoming concerts in Germany and Austria. If you don not have the chance to see and hear „Rojotango“ live, than I can also recommend the wonderful recording.

A few days ago I was invited to the presentation of an wonderful new classic album in my hometown Vienna.

Musicians of the Viennese and Berlin Philharmonics and two brothers of the famous „Jansoka Ensemble“ formed a new classical ensemble of seven unbelievably virtuoso, vivid and top-class musicians. The „Philharmonics“!

Although, the word „classical“ is not enough to describe the music of the Philharmonics. Because they overstep the limits to Jazz and east european folklore, with impressive lightness and naturalness. A very special kind of „Crossover“! Music performed in an Amusing, surprising and vivacious way. They presented their second album „oblivion“ which, for sure will be reaching „gold status“, ore even more, like their first album „Fascination Dance“.

The Philharmonics, excellent musicians, who make their music sparkle with a lot of temper, and virtuosity.

Enyojing the After Show Party with the virtouso brothers Roman (Violin) und František (Piano) Jánoška. Wonderful and humorous musicans.

It was pure enjoyment! And all of this took place in one of the most wonderful old barock palais in Vienna, the Palais Schönburg. For all of you who love excellent classical instrumental music: You have to have this album!

it was a fabulous evening for all artists in austrian music business!
The AMADEUS AWARD 2013, the most important austrian music award.

I am really glad that I was invited as a guest again in my home town Vienna, although I am part of the classic pop project ‚Adoro‘ in Germany.

I am glad to have the possibility to give support to the Stiftung AtemWeg (The Atemweg foundation) and their wonderful and important work and assignment.

On Sunday,14.04.2013 I will have an public interview at the fair „Die 66“ (The 66) which will take place at

MOC-Veranstaltungscenter, Lilienthalallee 40, 80939 Munich. There I will talk about the work of the AtemWeg foundation, about breath and voice as a tool of communication. Further themes of the interview will be „How to use the breath when you are singing?“ and „How I can keep my voice and breath fit and powerful.

The AtemWeg foundation supports the CPC (Comprehensive Pneumology Center). The research in the CPC is focused on chronic lung diseases. But the foundation is also working on important themes like enlightenment and prevention in context of lung diseases.

Thank you for coming and supporting the work of the AtemWeg foundation!
